What is different about PPC in Thailand
The Google Ads interface is the same everywhere. The search behaviour is not. Campaigns copied from an English-speaking market usually waste budget in Thailand for a few predictable reasons:
- Thai is written without spaces between words. The same intent appears as several spellings and segmentations, plus transliterations (for example a brand typed in Thai script, in English, and in a phonetic mix). Keyword research has to be done on real Thai search terms, not translated English lists.
- Bilingual queries are normal. Many Bangkok users mix Thai and English in one query — a product name in English plus ราคา (price) or รีวิว (review). Ad groups and negative keywords need to cover both scripts.
- The year is often written in the Buddhist calendar. Queries and ad copy that mention a year may use 2569 rather than 2026. Your ads and landing pages should match what the searcher typed.
- Many conversions happen in chat or by phone. A Thai prospect is often more likely to tap "LINE" or "call" than to fill in a form. If only form submissions count as conversions, Smart Bidding optimizes toward the wrong people.
What we manage
- Search campaigns in Thai and English, structured by intent rather than by match type, with shared negative keyword lists maintained weekly from the search-terms report.
- Performance Max and Shopping for ecommerce, with a product feed in Merchant Center, brand-term exclusions where appropriate, and asset groups split by margin rather than by category alone.
- YouTube and Demand Gen when there is a reason to build demand rather than capture it — usually for a new brand entering Thailand.
- Landing pages: we review or rewrite the pages your ads send traffic to, because a cheaper click on a weak page is not a saving. See our CRO service.
Conversion tracking first, bidding second
Automated bidding is only as good as the conversions you feed it. Before we scale any budget we make sure that:
- Every real conversion is recorded once — purchases, qualified form leads, LINE chats and calls — with sensible values.
- Enhanced conversions are enabled where you collect first-party data with consent.
- Offline outcomes (a lead that became a customer) are imported back into Google Ads, so bidding learns from sales, not just enquiries.
- Consent mode is configured for PDPA, so measurement keeps working within the rules.
Our GA4 & analytics service covers the same groundwork in more depth.
Reporting you can act on
Monthly reports show spend, conversions, cost per acquisition and — where you share sales data — cost per customer and return on ad spend, by campaign and by search intent. We explain what changed and what we are doing next, in English and Thai. If you want to model what a lower cost per lead would be worth, try the cost-per-lead guide and calculator.
Account ownership and pricing
Your Google Ads account is opened in your company's name and billed to your payment method. We work inside it as managers; if we part ways, you keep the account, its history and all conversion data. Management fees depend on scope (channels, languages, number of products or services) and are agreed after a scoping call — we do not take a hidden percentage of media spend.
